It began with a scent I couldn’t find anywhere — so I made it myself.
The search that started it all
For the longest time, I was searching for a scent that felt right—something rose-centered, warmed by amber. But it wasn’t just about finding a fragrance I loved. I’ve always been sensitive to synthetic chemicals in perfumes; they leave me feeling unwell, almost immediately. So I needed something real, something rooted entirely in nature. No sharp synthetic notes, no harsh accords. Just pure essential oils and organic ingredients. I looked everywhere, but that combination didn’t exist on any shelf.
So I stopped searching and started blending. I called it Smouldering—a rose at its heart, softened by warm amber, anchored with sandalwood and neroli, finished with a whisper of patchouli. Everything from essential oils and organic ingredients, nothing synthetic. I made it right here in Knox, Indiana, for myself first. That single act of creation became something I never expected.
From a spark to a brand
What began as one bottle for myself—Smouldering—became Pink Phoenix by Amy. The name says it plainly: transformation, renewal, and the courage to create something better than what already exists.
Natural, and intentional
Every element of Smouldering was built with intention—essential oils, organic ingredients, and the care that comes from creating something you actually need. Nothing synthetic, nothing rushed. Just a fragrance as it was meant to be, crafted for people like me who want beauty without compromise.
